Isis (Aset) was the powerful Ancient Egyptian goddess of magic, motherhood, healing, and fertility, known as the "Queen of the Throne" (her name's meaning) and revered as the perfect wife and mother, particularly in the Osiris myth where she resurrected her dismembered husband, Osiris, to conceive their son, Horus. She was a protector, healer, and guide for the dead, becoming a universal deity whose worship spread throughout the Greco-Roman world, often depicted with a throne, wings, or Hathor's cow-horn-and-sun-disk headdress.
